A routine maintenance schedule includes planned, ongoing tasks designed to prevent equipment failure, to extend product lifespans, and to keep your facilities running smoothly. Basic checks, cleaning, visual inspections, minor adjustments, performance evaluations, lubrication of moving parts, replacements on filters, and comprehensive preventative diagnostics are essential.

Routine

Maintenance

service-loadbank.jpg

Verify your generator's capacity under simulated load conditions. Load bank testing is the only reliable way to confirm that a generator will perform at full rated capacity during an actual outage. This service is required by NFPA 110 for many critical facilities and is included in our service contract programs.

Load Bank

Testing

service-startup.jpg

Factory-authorized commissioning and start-up for new generator installations. Our technicians verify proper installation, perform initial load testing, and ensure your system is fully operational and code-compliant before handoff. Proper start-up is critical to maintaining your manufacturer's warranty.

By shutting commercial power off via a breaker or initiating a manual loaded test at each Automatic Transfer Switch (ATS), the ATS’s go through their timing and transfer, putting the building load on the generator. This tests the system in real world application, where as an external load test simply ensures the generator can handle full load. After resupplying commercial power, or physically ending the test at the ATS’s, the system goes through its time delays and returns to commercial power.
