Lab

Available KOHLER products are hung on the walls of the 30 x 40 ft lab. Two tricked out gens challenge the students to diagnose and suggest repairs for bugs that are wired within.  A residential paralleling system with two 20RESC's are wired and functioning as demo units.

Courses / Seminars

The KOHLER Residential Service course is an intense 3.5 day mix of hands on lab and classroom work. Every possible component within your standby generator system; Generators, Automatic transfer switches, load control modules and other accessories are all gone over in great detail. Your dealer’s representative will be able to answer all of your questions to your satisfaction.

Air Cooled  Residential Class

Classroom instruction: 8/10/12RESV, 14/20RESC, installation, operation, service, OnCue and Site-Tech software configuration, overview of Automatic Transfer Switches RXT, RDT.

Lab: Hands on trouble shooting and operation of the 20RESC residential generator, Navigating and interpreting RDC2 controller menu system, correct wiring and operation of Load control modules, and Automatic Transfer switch.

    Liquid Cooled Residential Class

    Classroom instruction: 24/38/48/60RCL, installation, operation, service, OnCue and Site-Tech software configuration, overview of Automatic Transfer Switches, ECM controls, FX and FRX alternators.

    Lab: Hands on trouble shooting and operation of the RCL product line, Navigating and interpreting RDC2 controller menu system, correct wiring and operation of Load control modules, and Automatic Transfer switch.
